Why hire a refugee?
Refugees have the legal right to work in the United States. Most are extremely hard working, ambitious, and eager to become contributing members of society. Refugees have varied employment experience, ranging from farmers to engineers, teachers to construction workers. As employees, they are excited to succeed and acquire new skills, while also sharing some of their own expertise and knowledge. Employers typically find that hiring refugees improves retention rates and productivity.
